HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE THERE!

I would like my daughter assessed later in May. I assume that this helps determine the best league fit. My daughter gabriella is in U 8 in DSL and took your camp this past winter which she enjoyed. I have the 29th and 30th earmarked on my calendar and will look for the time announcements.
Hello!
We should have the times listed within the next couple days, as well as, the form to get registered for the Assessments! Check back by the end of the week and it should be there! Thanks so much and we look forward to meeting Gabriella!
We have two daughters currently in DSL U9 & U10. We will be registering them for your assessments this May. However, we are looking for a program for our 3rd daughter who will be entering U7 in fall (DOB 10/12/05). Does your Elite U8 academy cover this age group. I just wondered as I was looking around and I noticed OP Eagels has a U8 junior academy that plays in the MOSSL and includes younger players – so I was curious if your Elite program includes younger players also?
Ms. Kuyvenhoven,
Locker Soccer Elite U8 Academy Program will be offered for this upcoming season. This program is offered to children who will be turning 8 years old this coming year from August 1, 2012 until July 31, 2013. Younger players who are interested are also welcome to consider this program. The term for a younger child playing in an older age group is called “playing up”. Typically, we look at the players ability in relationship to everyone else, and we also look at the birthdate. It is not uncommon for players who are born in August, September & October to be playing up.
As a program that is primarily focused on the developmental stages of children, we try to look at the potential for success to help insure that we are progressing a child in confidence. Decisions to “play up” are made on an individual basis, and we are open to this conversation with any family that is interested.
Our U8 teams will be comprised of approximately 10 players, and they will participate in league play….playing games of 6 versus 6. In addition, we will hold academy style training every weekend and complete the training with 3v3 and 4v4 games. This academy training will last for 90 – 120 minutes each weekend, and like all Elite training, it will be facilitated by one of our professional staff coaches.
I hope this helps in your decision making process! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
Thank you,
Steve
