Locker Soccer Academy Founders
Cindy and Steve Locker reside in Dublin with their two children, Scott (April, 2000) and Chloe (July, 2001).
Administrative Director - Cindy Locker
Cindy Locker was a three-sport athlete at Smith College and has coached high school soccer, track and field, and basketball. Having started her career with Coopers Lybrand as an accountant, Cindy later earned her Master of Education and teaches math at The Wellington School. Cindy will handle all financial and accounting matters for Locker Soccer Academy.
Coaching Director - Steve Locker
Steve Locker also holds a Master of Education degree and has sixteen years of collegiate head coaching experience. Steve spent seven years at Harvard University, three years at the University of Rochester, and six years at Otterbein College. His coaching career includes eight League Championships, including two Ivy League titles. Steve has coached several players who have been drafted by the MLS, several All Americans and over a dozen Academic All Americans. Steve’s 1996 Harvard squad finished the season with the nation’s longest win streak that year (sixteen games) and finished the season ranked 7th nationally of all Division I schools. Steve played collegiate soccer for Penn State and internationally for Hannover 96 in Germany. Steve holds the distinction of being the first American to earn a professional coaching diploma from Germany. Steve has worked extensively with A.C. Milan’s top team in Italy and has been the only American to be offered a position working with their youth players on their Academy staff.
Tracy Kelley- Director of Operations
Tracy joined the Locker Soccer Family in August 2008. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Ohio Wesleyan University with a major in Psychology and minor in Sociology and Government. Tracy played for the Ohio Wesleyan tennis team. She enjoys painting, drawing and rollerblading. Tracy and her husband Noah reside in Worthington.
Chad Snider - Head Coach
Chad has been part of the Locker Soccer Family since 2004. He has played soccer as long as he can remember, also playing collegiate soccer at Ohio Dominican. He has been teaching social studies, language arts and religion to the sixth, seventh, and eigth grade students at St. Mary School since 2000. Along with teaching he has coached for a couple of local clubs, workington United and Reynoldsburg. Chad has been the boys head coach at Buckeye Valley High School since 2001. In 2005, he was named North Central Soccer Leage Coach of the Year, and helped create that leaue in 2003. Chad married his wife Melissa in '98 and resides in Dublin with their daughters Allison and Matie. In his spare time Chad enjoys traveling with his family, watching and playing hockey, watching the History Channel, and of course playing soccer.
Mike Salisbury - Head Coach
Mike joined the Locker Soccer Family, coaching both at the academy and the summer camp since 2005. Mike was also a summer staff coach for Steve Locker while Steve was coaching at Harvard. Mike played collegiate soccer at Otterbein, graduating in 1992. He played two years at the Community College of Alleghany County in Pittsburgh, winning one Pennsylvania state championship and being runner up the second year. Mike has taught for 10 years at Village Academy in Powell, and is head of the History Department. Mike has coached at Westerville North High school for 13 years, as the varsity assistant in a program winning State Championship in 1995 and 2003. They have been state runners-up in ’97, ’99, and ’04. As the JV coach for 13 years, they have a record of 177-32-29. He has also coached for 3 years with Ambassador SC and, prior to that, for the COSA Express and Gahanna Arsenal. Mike has been married to wife Susan for 15 years in ’92 and they have two daughters, Elora Jane ’96 and Elise ’00.
Steve Dickman - Head Coach
Joined Locker Soccer Academy in the fall of 2007. Steve has played soccer for as long as he can remember. He coached his cousins 9&10 year old team while he was in high school. He is originally from Fort Jennings, OH. He joined the US Navy in 1997 and worked on a nuclear powered submarine (USS Toledo). He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2006. Currently, Steve is a full time teacher for the Dublin City Schools working with special needs children. He lives in Dublin with his wife Amanda, daughter Emma, and their new addition to the family, son Owen Michael.
Chad Simkins- Head Coach
Chad has been part of the Locker Soccer Academy family since the beginning of 2008. He has played soccer for 30 years and has coached on and off for 14 years. Currently Chadcoaches with the Elite FC Club. He has obtained his Advanced Regional Coaching License. Chad is a resident of Powell.
Aaron Linden- Head Coach
Aaron joined the Locker Soccer Family in 2007. He is the Director of Coaching for the COSA Team Ohio FC Soccer Club and has been coaching for 15 years. He has played soccer his whole life starting at age 4. He still plays indoor soccer and softball as much as possible. Aaron lives in Westerville with his wife Kim, and their two sons, Tyler and Nathan.
Nikki Duff- Head Coach
Nikki joined the Locker Soccer Family in 2008. She has played soccer at the Club, High School and College level. She has coached with the
Mark Cook- Head Coach
Mark has been part of the Locker Soccer Academy Family since 2005. He has played soccer since the age of 5. He played for Otterbein College from 2001-2005, which included 3 OAC conference championships, 2 OAC tournament championships, 1 Great Lakes Regional Championship, and 2002 NCAA National Finalist where the team finished 2nd in the nation. Mark spent the previous 2 years as head coach of the boys' Bluffton High School soccer team, in South Carolina. He also won the 2009 Region 7 Coach of the Year as well as 2009 Bluffton High School Coach of the Year Awards. He continues to coach and play to this day while teaching high school English.
Adam Schauer- Assistant/Head Coach
Adam Schauer joined the Locker Soccer family in January 2010. Adam holds a degree in Exercise Science from the Ohio State University and is a certified personal trainer. Adam also played socecer at The Ohio State University and Professionally in the 1st Division of the USL with a stint in Germany playing in the bundesliga for Tus Koblenz.
Dave Christensen- Assistant/Head Coach
Dave joined Locker Soccer in the Fall of 2008. He played and coached for Westerville North High School. He played 2 years at Columbus State Community College, where he was a two time Junior College First Team All-American. Dave has been coaching locally for 18 years; boys, girls and all ages. He has been coaching in Dublin for 8 years with Team Ohio Football Club. He enjoys playing golf in his spare time. Dave currently resides in Gahanna.
Kate Weale- Assistant Coach
Kate joined Locker Soccer in the summer of 2006. She has played soccer since the age of 4. She played four years of collegiate soccer at Otterbein College. Kate is the head soccer coach for the Worthington Special Olympics team. She currently holds a coaching license and has been coaching for 6 years.
Anne Weale- Assistant Coach
Anne joined Locker Soccer in the summer of 2008. She is currently enrolled at The Ohio State University. She has played soccer since she was three. She helps coach the Worthington Special Olympics soccer team along with her sister Kate.
