| Does Locker Soccer have a makeup policy? | Our Make Up Policy is very flexible. Make up classes can be made up in any class that is offered for the same age group. Missed classes may not be carried over from other sessions and must be made up in the session in which they were missed. Please try to limit your number of missed classes to no more than 2 per session. To schedule a makeup class, please contact the office at 760-5522 or info@lockersoccer.com. |
| Does Locker Soccer give refunds? | We do not give refunds. In extreme cases, such as a broken arm/leg or several failed attempts to get a child to participate, we will offer a credit towards a future session. This credit does not expire and can be used by the registered child or another sibling. |
| Does Locker Soccer pro-rate the fees? | We do pro-rate the cost for coming into a session late, however do not pro-rate for missed classes due to vacation or sickness. We allow 2 makeup classes per session. |
| What if my child is sick? | If your child is sick, please do not bring them to class. Locker Soccer has a very flexible make up policy. Bring them back when they are back to their healthy selves! |
| What do you do if your child is not adjusting to his/her class? | Give it time. Sometimes it can take several classes for a child to get adjusted to his/her new class. Their new surroundings, including the coach/es, new kids, the structure of the class, etc. can cause shyness or not wanting to participate. We encourage parents to come out on the field if need be (typically with the younger children), but once your child adjust, to nonchalantly come off the field. Before you know it, you won't be able to get them off the field!! |
| Do you cancel classes if the weather is bad? | Winter – Locker Soccer does not follow the snow cancellations made by local schools. Typically we hold classes, unless there is a snow emergency. Please check our website or NBC4 for closing information. As always, if you do not feel comfortable driving, please schedule a make up class! Summer – Locker Soccer does not cancel summer camps due to rain. If there is severe weather (lightening), the camp will be cancelled for that day. If they are already at the camp they will take shelter until the storm passes. If it does not seem likely the storm will pass, parents are urged to pick up their children early. |
| When is payment due for a class/camp? | Full payment is required before a class slot will be reserved. Locker Soccer accepts Visa, Mastercard, Check or Cash. |
| How much is the Registration Fee and when is it due? | The Registration Fee of $25.00 is due once per family, per Academic Year (August-August). Locker Soccer does not charge the Registration Fee for Summer Classes/Camps. |
| What does my child need to bring to class? | Your child can wear what they are comfortable playing in: T-Shirt, Shorts, Tennis Shoes, etc. Locker Soccer provides the soccer balls, so you do not need to bring one. If you would like to bring a drink, the kids do take drink breaks. Shin guards are not required for the Little Kickers classes. Shin guards are recommended for our Advanced Development Classes (Ages 6-14). Please no cleats, as they cause wear and tear on the field. Indoor flat soccer shoes are permitted. Make sure all shoes are clean; any traces of dirt/mud will not be allowed on the field. |
| What do Parents do during class? | RELAX! Locker Soccer provides tables and chairs for parents and siblings. Here you can enjoy your morning (or evening) coffee, watch your child's class, and relax! Our glass boards allow you to see your child at all times and your child to see you at all times, creating less separation anxiety for the both of you. Please refrain from standing at the wall, as this can be a distraction to your child during their class and may also block other parents from viewing. |
| How are Locker Soccer's Sessions organized? | Locker Soccer has 4 Main Indoor Sessions: Fall Session I (Aug-Oct) and Fall Session II (Oct-Dec) are both 8 week sessions. Winter Session III (Jan-Mar) and Spring Session IV (Mar-May) are both 10 week sessions. The Summer Sessions (June and July ) are 4 weeks long each. Several weeks of Outdoor Camps are offered at local parks. |
| Sign me up! How do I get registered? | It's very easy to get started! You can either register online, over the phone, or at the front desk during class. As soon as you register online your spot is automatically saved. This is important to remember during our busiest sessions. For example if you want to sign up for a Saturday class that typically sells out and it's a Saturday or Sunday evening, the best way to secure your spot is to register online, rather than waiting to call the office Monday morning. Also, make sure to always keep an eye out for postings around the Academy. We always let those who are already registered in classes know ahead of time when we are going to start registration for our next session! |
